Adjudication

Adjudication helps our participants continue to learn, grow & discover new areas of inspiration & avenues of their artistries, artistic limits, and hear critical and uplifting feedback directly from professionals in the field. We consider our adjudication an integral educational and artistic component of our festival & we are honored to have our hand selected adjudication panel present their feedback to our dance artists each year.

Solo, Duet, Trio & Quartets

Each dancer may participate in up to 2 solos, duets, trios or quartets or a combination of 2 total.

A fee of $10/dance/dancer is charged for each additional solo, duet, trio, and/or quartet above 2 & a maximum of participating in 5 dances is allowed.

The maximum time limit per dance number is 2 minutes and 30 seconds (2:30).

Adjudication will be broken up into divisions by age. CDF will use the average age of the group as of 1/1/23 to determine their placement. Youth = Ages 7-10, Junior = Ages 11-13, Senior = Ages 14 & up
