What is the festival all about?
An exciting weekend bringing local and national dance schools together to celebrate and share dance with each other. The festival includes master classes, seminars, adjudication, a gala concert and the opportunity to meet new friends!
Who can participate?
All dancers ages seven and up are invited to attend. Dance schools can bring dances for adjudication and individuals may attend the festival to participate in all classes and events without being adjudicated.
How much does it cost to participate?
The cost to participate in 2-day event is $165 per participant. A studio director or instructor is required to attend with each school at no cost. Additional teachers/directors may attend at the reduced rate of $40 for 2 days and $35 for 1 day.
- Master Classes taught by dance professionals
- Seminars in nutrition, dance careers, injury prevention & wellness
- Adjudication – have your dance critiqued by industry professionals (2 small group dances included on Friday; 3 group dances (5 or more dancers) included on Saturday; Any additional small groups are $10 per dance/dancer)
- Dinner on Friday and Lunch & Dinner on Saturday

All registration will be paper registration this year. We would also be happy to email the materials to you. See the pricing deadlines below.
To lock in at Extremely Early Bird Rates, a $100 non-refundable deposit must be made by August 15, 2019 to receive an additional director/instructor free.
To receive the 2019 Early Bird Discount, a $100 non-refundable deposit must be made by October 1, 2019. Deposit will be used towards registration fees.

*Young dancers (ages 7-9) may register for a half day at the rate $70 and includes: 1 master class, adjudication, 1 meal, festival tank. This option is only available for Saturday.
Can I register after February 15?
Yes. After February 15, 2020, registration is based on availability. Please contact us at email@example.com or (952) 847-3243 to inquire. We will have the final schedule and details to you within one week of the festival.
Family & Friends are welcome to watch throughout the weekend!
Friday: $5 entrance pass, (optional $10 pizza/salad ticket)
Saturday: $8 entrance pass, Students/Seniors $5 Admission to Gala Concert is included. (optional $15 pasta dinner ticket)
All families are welcome in the lobby area to drop off and pick up your dancer. Admission beyond the registration table requires the purchase of a day pass.
Day passes can be purchased at the door.
Cafe will be open for the day with some light snacks and beverages.
Saturday, May 2nd, 2020 @ 7:30pm, Grace Church
Open to the public. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door, $8 Adults, Students/Seniors $5. (A day pass includes admission to the Gala). Ballet Co. Laboratory will be performing along with 10 pieces from adjudication!
Previously, amazing talent including: Herbert Johnson III, Dance Co., Julie Marie-Muskat, Yuki Tokuda, St. Paul Ballet, St. Olaf College, Twin Cities Ballet, Eclectic Edge Ensemble, Crash Dance Productions, Gustavus Adolphus College, Jeremy Bensussan, One Dance Company & Borealis Dance have performed in our Gala Concert. In addition to these professional companies, the adjudicators will be selecting the top performances from the weekend to open this exciting evening.
All participants will receive a ticket to the Gala Concert included in their participation fee. The concert will be open to all and tickets will be available for purchase in advance.
